Your Skincare Routine Is Probably Too Long

Your face does not know what a 12-step routine is. It knows irritation. Somewhere along the way, skincare became a numbers game. More serums. More acids. More toners. More layers. More steps. And somehow, we started believing that a bathroom shelf full of products must mean a healthier complexion.

It doesn't.

Your skin is a living organ—not a countertop waiting to be covered.

The URIBHO 3-Step Test

Cleanse → Treat → Protect

That's the starting point.

Cleanse to remove what needs removing.

Treat with a product that addresses an actual skin goal.

Protect with moisturizer and, during the day, sunscreen.

Everything else has to earn its place.

Try the experiment. Then ask yourself:

What actually changed?

If your skin is calmer, more comfortable and just as happy—or happier—you may have discovered something important. More isn't automatically better. Too many actives, overlapping exfoliants and unnecessary layers can make a routine harder to tolerate and much harder to understand. A good skincare routine isn't the one with the most steps. It's the one you can use consistently, without fighting your own skin.

The URIBHO Rule

Every product should have a purpose.

If you can't explain why it's there, take it out.
