A Prayer for Those With Breast Cancer

Saint Agatha,
faithful virgin and courageous martyr,
you knew suffering in your own body
and remained steadfast in your love for Christ.

Pray for all who have received a diagnosis of breast cancer.

Pray for those awaiting test results,
those undergoing surgery,
those receiving chemotherapy, radiation, hormone therapy,
targeted treatment, or other forms of care.

Pray for those living with metastatic disease,
for those in remission,
for survivors carrying the memories of treatment,
and for families walking beside them.

Saint Peregrine, patron of those suffering from cancer,
pray for all whose bodies are afflicted by this disease.

Saint Gemma Galgani,
who endured prolonged illness with extraordinary faith,
pray for those who are frightened, exhausted, or in pain.

Saint Zélie Martin,
pray for mothers, wives, daughters, and families affected by cancer.

And all holy men and women of God,
pray for us.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
we place our suffering, our fears,
our hopes, and our lives into Your hands.

May those who are sick receive competent medical care,
strength for each day,
comfort in suffering,
peace in uncertainty,
and hope in Christ.

Jesus, we trust in You.
